Day 20 - the Pig
... or at least that's what it's known as around here. It's really "Piggly Wiggly" our grocery store. We don't have a lot of choices in the grocery store department around here - it's basically the Pig or WalMart of one other whose name escapes me - unless one wants to drive to Huntsville for groceries. Of course, the Pig has been around forever, so is pretty much an institution.

We don't have "Pigs" in Ohio. The big grocery stores are Kroger and Giant Eagle. Locally, too, are Cardinal Foods and Pick & Save. And of course the SuperWalmart and SAMS Club. It's interesting to travel to different areas of the country to see what their major grocery stores are.
plus, it's just fun to say "I'm going to the Piggly Wiggly!"
Love the nickname - I remember piggly-wiggly from Ohio - my mom used to shop in one in Alliance!
