Day 6 - downtown

Guntersville has a 'main street' - and that used to be it's name. But they made it one way some years ago and changed the name to Gunter. I guess "Main Street" wasn't classy enough.

These lovely planters adorn the sidewalk all through the downtown area.

Very nice, Iris. I always wanted to live in a town that had a "Main Street".

I love that photo -- great looking street. I've never lived anywhere with a downtown area that wasn't spread out or up. You have a beautiful town Iris.

Thanks guys for the nice compliments. To me it's just your basic main street - but I guess if I were writing a travellog I'd call it 'quaint'.

Yup, still have the goats, though not nearly as many. I'll try and get a pic of them soon.

I love angle-in parking! Seems so middle-America small town :-)
