This is the view across the street from the Chamber of Commerce - looking out across the river bridge (Tennessee River). I have no idea what kind of flowers these are growing along the bank and the tree - but they sure were pretty.

What a pretty peaceful scene. Love the white flowers -- I don't know what they are either.
Sweet Autumn Clematis (Clematis ternifolia). It's lovely but a little weedy.
these are great photos, Iris - very nice and the flowers are lovely.
Flowering Clematis - and thank god they cover everything - we have them along our driveway. They smell really good when they first blossom. Nice end of the summer pic!
