I think it's local stone - I think the main part of the church was built in the early 1900s and they worked really hard to make the addition (on the right in the photo) look like the original.
And no, my church isn't very attractive on the outside (metal building) - it's what goes on inside that's so great. (Though we do have a building program and hope to build a domed building in the next few years.)
~ Well, I'm older than dirt. I have wonderful kids, grandkids and furkids. I'm a breast cancer survivor, and manage to stay pretty busy with my cross stitch design, web site design and Barbie fashions.
