No - there have been court cases - supposedly requiring a photo ID makes it difficult for poor people to vote - the argument goes that the can't afford a state issued ID.
well, at least they knew it was you :) Happy November 5th! - you know that random set of letters to type for verification? The ones this morning here spell 'joyosity' I think that would make a great word! :)
Oh, they knew it was me. It's a small community and I grew up here and have been back for 18 years. Everyone knows me (not sure if that's a good thing or not, but....)
We had long lines, and people very anxious to show all sorts of ID, even though they only needed one - I had my voted ID card AND my drivers license - didn't want to take any chance of not being able to vote. Definitely was a good time to be in a small town.
~ Well, I'm older than dirt. I have wonderful kids, grandkids and furkids. I'm a breast cancer survivor, and manage to stay pretty busy with my cross stitch design, web site design and Barbie fashions.
Check "MY About Me Page" (link above) for more info on me and mine.

Glad to see that at least in AL you still need to show ID :)
I thought you had to do that everywhere???

Ah, but it didn't have to be a photo ID - there were about 20 different things you could use, one being an electric bill in your name, etc.
Not as good as photo id, but better than nothing.
