Another "old" house in my 'neighborhood' (which is definitely in the country).This is back off the road quite a ways and still lived in - by someone even older than me.

and what exactly is with the hay bales? it just looks like regular lawn there...
Not a lawn - a "hayed" field. Though it probably looks better than "my" lawn.
