Plus Day 162 - Old Citizens Bank Building
This lovely old building is downtown and was actually a bank when I was growing up. Then it encountered some sad times. A young couple finally bought it and re-did it. I understand now there are offices on the ground floor and they live on the 2nd floor.

Iris -
Is this the bank on Walnut and 3r that your gg referred to in Chapter One?
No, wrong town. This bank is in Guntersville - he was in Macon, GA - and the bank he referred to is long gone :( Sorry, didn't mean to confuse you.
We have a lot of these type buildings in our town that have been "redone" like this, with living quarters upstairs. It's a great way to utilize the property, in my opinion.
